Dr. Joshua S. Faley, DPM, FACFAS, is a highly experienced foot and ankle surgeon who earned his degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2007, following his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University. He completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency at the Detroit Medical Center in 2010, where he honed his skills in foot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery.
As a board-certified surgeon, Dr. Faley specializes in both foot and rearfoot/ankle surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. He serves as the Director of the Foot & Ankle Trauma Clinic at Detroit Receiving Hospital and is actively involved in resident teaching at both the Detroit Medical Center and St. Mary Mercy Hospital. He also contributes his expertise as a physician at the Wound Care Center at St. Mary Mercy Hospital.
Dr. Faley is a dedicated member of various professional organizations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association. He is also a board member for the MPMA Southeast Division and a recognized speaker at events like the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association’s Great Lakes Conference. His focus on advancing medical practice includes presenting on evidence-based treatments for osseous non-unions.
