Dr. Steve Mirkos, DPM

A lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Dr. Steve Mirkos joined Cincinnati Foot & Ankle Care in 2007 after completing his podiatric residency at the Kern residency program at Southeast Michigan Surgical Hospital, one of the most respected and well-known podiatric residency programs in the country.

Dr. Mirkos received extensive training in all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery including foot and ankle reconstruction, sports medicine, diabetic limb salvage, amputation prevention, and wound care. He has lectured on numerous topics at hospitals and medical conferences.

Within the community, Dr. Mirkos volunteers for the Mercy Care clinic, which provides free care for those in need. He also serves on teaching staffs for the podiatric residency programs in the Cincinnati area.

Having grown up in Cincinnati, Dr. Mirkos is a big fan of all Cincinnati sports teams. He and his wife have three energetic daughters who are the center of their family life.
