Dr. Asmita Patel, MD, is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with over 20 years of experience in ultrasound-guided vein procedures, venous insufficiency diagnosis, and treatment. She is a valued member of the CVVA team in Illinois, bringing expertise and dedication to patient care.
Dr. Patel graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She then went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in 2007. A Trauma 1 medical center in Oak Lawn, IL, where Dr. Patel continues to serve as an Attending physician, mentoring residents and assisting in honing their ultrasound skills.
Originally from Western Springs, IL, Dr. Patel practices across several hospitals and locations throughout the Chicagoland area. She is deeply committed to advancing the care of her patients and is actively involved in venous insufficiency treatments.
